As we prepare for our 3rd Annual Citrus County Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Leadership Gala, we center ourselves once again on the powerful themes of Leadership, Legacy, and Love.
Join us for a vibrant Painting Workshop Extravaganza, where children and families are invited to explore the joy of bringing their imagination to life on canvas. Through arts, culture, and creativity, we honor Dr. King’s enduring legacy—a legacy of love, learning, and leadership.

The Kid's Painting Workshop will be held at the historic Citrus County Canning Center in Lecanto, originally constructed in 1938 as the Lecanto School. In 1970, the venue became the Citrus County Cannery and it's adaptation—from school to storage to canning facility—exemplifies community resourcefulness.
